Moon Letter #2 — The Weight We Were Never Meant to Carry

Full Moon in Capricorn • June 29, 2026

There’s something about this Full Moon that feels like standing in the middle of your own life asking: What am I carrying because it truly matters… and what am I carrying because I’m afraid to stop?

This moon feels connected to responsibility, pressure, survival mode, and the quiet exhaustion so many people carry behind the scenes. The kind that does not always look dramatic from the outside. The kind that becomes so normal we stop questioning it. And honestly, I think many of us have gotten so used to pushing through that we no longer recognize when we are tired. Real tired. Not “I need a nap” tired. The kind of tired that settles into your body after too many weeks of holding everything together while pretending it is manageable.

This Full Moon feels practical, yes, but not cold. More like a woman finally sitting down at the kitchen table after everyone goes to sleep. Looking around. Realizing she cannot continue building her life through self-neglect and pressure alone.

It shines a light on the places where we have confused self-punishment with discipline. The places where rest became something we think we have to earn. The places where our worth quietly became attached to how much we can endure before breaking.

But surviving is not the same thing as living; and maybe this moon is asking us to stop treating ourselves like machines that only deserve care after producing enough.

Mirror Moment

  • What am I trying to prove through exhaustion?

  • What would support look like if it did not involve pushing harder?

  • Where have I been surviving instead of actually living?

Ritual Spark

Tonight, slow down on purpose. Wash your hands slowly. Take a longer shower. Light a candle while the house is quiet. Let yourself exist for a few minutes without multitasking or trying to “catch up” on life.

For this Full Moon, I find myself reaching for the Cosmic Calm Roller during the moments when my mind feels overstretched and the SelfCare Club Candle when I need my space to feel softer, slower, and more human again. Not because rituals solve everything, but because sometimes small moments of care help remind us that we deserve support too.

A Quiet Reminder

You cannot build a soft life using shame as fuel; and maybe this Full Moon is not asking you to become someone new.

Maybe it is simply asking you to put something heavy down.

Until then, may you remember that rest is not something you earn after breaking.
